Data sources

The site keeps a single registry of external providers. A component reads that registry before it renders anything factual. If the relevant provider reports disconnected, the component renders its structure, names the fields it needs, and shows an integration-pending state — it never falls back to a sample number.

This is why the dashboards on this site are currently empty frames rather than charts. The frames are real; the data is honestly absent.

When feeds are connected, precedence runs: the venue or operator's own published price; the league or governing body for participation and results; the regulator for legal and licensing status; the national meteorological service for conditions. Aggregators are used only where a primary source publishes nothing.

Each published figure carries the provider name and the retrieval time it was captured, because a price without a timestamp is not a fact.

Market and odds data is licensed content. We will connect a provider only under terms that permit public display, and the provider will be named on every page that uses it. We will not scrape a venue that prohibits it, and we will not republish data we are not licensed to show.
